My name is Amanda welcome to my blog! I am a newly minted general surgery intern. I have been doing photography for 8+ years and being a busy med student, I really missed using my creativity. About a year ago I created an Instagram side project that mimicked the "365 Days" photo project that many photographers have tried. I knew realistically that I didn't have enough material for 365 days of my life (also because there's not much to look at when all you're doing is studying) so I decided to document the little things in my daily life as best as I could. Little did I know how many followers I'd amass and once board studying was over, I contemplated resurrecting my old blog. So here we are now with a newly configured blog that hopefully gives you a little bit more into my life. Hope you guys enjoy!
My photography
I started doing photography my senior year of high school when I was disappointed with my senior pictures. So I decided to save up for my first DSLR (a Canon Rebel xTi) and since then, I've actually started taking senior pictures for others!
What kind of camera do you use?
I upgraded to a Canon 7D about four years ago and it's fantastic. I won't need to upgrade for a long time (nor will I have money to upgrade for a long time).
What lens do you use?
The pictures on this blog will most likely be with a 50mm 1.4 or a 18-135mm 3.5-5.6.
